Serve on a board - what now? Why would you want to do that? Well, maybe because you want to learn new skills. Or give back to your community. Or collaborate with interesting people who have overlapping interests & values.

Have young people on your board - what now? Why would you want to do that? Maybe because members of Gen X and Gen Y bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas. They're results-oriented. They're not afraid to ask why.

Get on Board is working to bridge the gap between these two groups. Our second annual networking mixer allows local nonprofit agencies and potential board candidates the opportunity to make connections in an informal setting. New this year, we're inviting local government officials responsible for making board/commission appointments. More details to follow, but mark your calendars now!
