Allen County is turning 200 in 2024! To celebrate, YLNI and the Allen County Commissioners are launching the 2024 Kindness Challenge.

It's a county-wide initiative to spread kindness. Whether you participate individually or with a school, organization, or business, our goal is to complete one million acts of kindness by December 31, 2024.

I started a conversation with an elderly man standing in the parking lot.

I sent an encouraging text to someone who just found out that her brother was experiencing some health complications.

I drove an older man to several furniture stores to pick out a recliner and then used my van to deliver the furniture to his home.

I helped a man with Down Syndrome with his meal and cleaning up after he finished eating.

I assisted a woman with special needs with her self-care. She is not able to take care of some of her daily needs and I came along side to make sure she had those needs met.

Cash made a card for a staff member reducing their role at CASS and had the other Core Members sign it. The Core Members took turns sharing what they appreciate about the staff member.
