Team YLNI and the IDA Committee have partnered to create "TEAM YLNI at the YWCA Race for Equality" this year!
Open to all - walkers and runners alike - go at your own pace!
Join us! Register through YLNI for a fee to you of just $15.00. YLNI is covering the rest! The registration deadline to be guarenteed a t-shirt is April 1; the deadline to register with YLNI's discounted race fee of $15 is April 21.
Team YLNI will host two (2) practices for anyone who would like to meet ahead of the race to connect and motivate one another:
- Practice dates: Saturday March 29th and Saturday April 12th
- Times: 12pm - 1pm
- Location: Practice runs will be held outdoors at Purdue Fort Wayne, meet at the Mastodon next to Walb Student Union. The indoor backup location will be Parkview Family YMCA should there be inclement weather.
The Race for Equality 5K Walk/Run raises funds for YWCA’s work towards equality, which includes community events, assessing community priority areas for equality, and developing educational content to share with Fort Wayne and the northeast Indiana community.
The theme of our 2025 event is “Until Justice Just Is” and we will focus on how we can move together towards a better, more just community for all!
