The Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) Leadership Institute welcomed its newest class of emerging leaders on Wednesday night. Now in its 15th year, YLNI’s Leadership Institute connects young professionals with their peers and their community as they advance in their career skills.

Charl Franks is a financial professional, entrepreneur, and returning adult college student. Charl has been based in northeast Indiana since 2004 after moving to the United States from South Africa.

We were blessed with another great 2019 Leadership Institute Class. Hear from some of the graduates themselves to learn more their experience with the institute first hand.

Each summer, Fort Wayne gathers downtown to celebrate busking (or street performing) with a lineup of performers from across the country.

Vision 20/20 began when our Advisory Council, a group of influential community leaders, challenged us to return Northeast Indiana to a prosperous region to help bring back the swagger this community used to know so well.

With support from the Lincoln Financial Foundation, YLNI launched a video project aimed at helping showcase area venues and attractions in a manner that would be attractive to the young leaders that our community hopes to attract and retain.

The Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana (YLNI) Board of Directors voted to sign onto the Indy Chamber’s Indiana Competes initiative, which aims to support a strong hate crimes law being passed in the 2019 Indiana legislative session.
